A working camp, kids will learn to feed, care for, groom and saddle horses. 2 hours of
horse riding every day, with activities, games, lessons, foundation seat work, precise
cue and horse control. Lessons taught can be used in english and western disciplines.
Small groups of six or less are maintained for effective learning and instructor-
student integrity. Students are grouped into camps of like ability, and all students will
learn at their own level and pace. Dressage, Jumping and Barrels available to
intermediate and upper level students.

June 7 to June 9 Hours 9 - 2 (3 day camp) 5 - 10 yr olds
Camp is 3 days, and will start young riders on basic & intermediate
riding techniques, with work on balance, basic control, and safety
emphasis. Lessons will be of shorter duration to match the young
attention span of the 5 -6 with still plenty of riding time. 7 -10 year
olds will have longer lessons with harder tasks. All riders will be
grouped and taught at their level. 1 private lesson included. Camp
will include lots of games and pony interaction to keep interest.
COST $130.00 $10.00 off: early discount due May 1st
June 28th to July 1 Hours 8 - 3 (4 day camp)
Age 7 and up intermediate equitation camp
We will explore different types of riding and work on equitation. This
camp concentrates on cantering, upper level equitation, with
emphasis on reining, jumping and dressage and showing horses. There
will be one private lesson for each youth. Equestrian Games also.
COST 195.00 $10.00 off: early discount due June 1st
July 12th to July 14th Hours 8 - 2 (3 day camp)
Age 7 and up equitation camp
All experience level camp inclucing a variety of horsemanship skills,
types of riding, and fun equestrian mounted games. Topics include:
grooming, health care, tack & equipment, and knowledge of horses.
COST 150.00 $10.00 off: early discount due June 15th
July 5th
Exclusive! Trail Day Camp Overnight
This one day camp is limited to 3 campers per instructor. Must be
able to walk and trot well. Campers will pack their own tack, bags,
and equipment.
They will sleep overnight, get up early, learn to load their own horses,
saddle and tack for the trail, learn about safety and obstacles on
the trail. This is not a walk only ride, we will trot a lot! cantering will
be based on experience. We will ride at Swift Park, or Lake Carl
Blackwell for a 3 to 4 hour trail ride.
