SUMMER CAMP
Where fun meets skill........
A working camp, kids will learn to care for, groom and saddle horses.  Horse riding and activities, games,
lessons, foundation seat work, precise cue and horse control.  Lessons taught can be used in english
and western disciplines.  
Small groups of six or less are maintained for effective learning and instructor- student integrity.  
Students are grouped into camps of like ability, and all students will learn at their own level and pace.  
Dressage, Jumping and Barrels available to intermediate and upper level students.

STEP 1  Pick Your Camp!
June 8 to June 10  
Getting Started Camp  5 - 10 yr olds   
Hours 8 - 130
Camp is 3 days, and will start young riders on basic & intermediate riding techniques, with work on
balance, basic control, and safety emphasis.  Lessons will be of shorter duration to match the young
attention span of the 5 -6  with still plenty of riding time.  7 -10 year olds will have longer lessons with
harder tasks.  All riders will be grouped and  taught at their level. Camp will include lots of games and
pony interaction to keep interest.

June 27th to June 29th         
Equitation camp     8 and  Up
Hours 8 - 230  
We will explore different types of riding and work on equitation. This camp will explore sitting trot,
posting, cantering,  equitation,beginner jump, barrels, pole bending and horseback games. There will be
one private lesson for each youth.  Riders can continue on into the Intermediate camp.

June 30th to July 2nd
Intermediate/Advanced English and  Dressage     
Hours 8 - 300    
Age 11 and up intermediate equitation camp
We will explore different types of riding and work on equitation. This camp concentrates on cantering,
upper level equitation, with emphasis on dressage and showing horses.  There will be one private lesson
for each youth, and
show on saturday, parents welcome to watch.

July 11th   RESCHEDULING due to heat
Exclusive!    Trail Day Camp     Overnight
This one a  half day camp is limited to 3 campers per instructor.  Must be able to walk, and trot well  
with at least a basic canter. Campers will pack their own tack, bags, and equipment the night before,
spend the night in a camper get up early,  load their own horses, saddle and tack for the trail,  learn
about safety and obstacles on the trail. This is not a walk only ride, we will trot a lot! cantering will be  
based on experience.  We will ride  for a 3 to 4 hour trail ride.

July 15th, 16th and 17th (Fri Sat & Sun)

riding, barrels, pole bending and horseback games. There will be one private lesson for each youth. Water
will be involved also!
