You will learn to ride efficiently and get the most out of your riding. We use all the muscles of the body to control every part of the horse. Biomechanics, therapeutic insights, core use, seat, aids, use and nonuse of reins....... learn what those mean. No matter which disciplines you ride, we can help you be better at it! You do not have to be knowledgeable!
We love BEGINNERS to Advanced!!! We love ALL AGES (5 and up)!!! There is no pressure to perform. Come learn and have FUN!
Dressage
Dressage, a French word meaning "training", is a highly skilled form of riding performed in exhibition and competition, as well as an "art" sometimes pursued solely for the sake of mastery. An equestrian sport defined by the International Equestrian Federation, as "the highest expression of horse training" where "horse and rider are expected to perform from memory a series of predetermined movements".

Western Dressage Reining and Trail Classes
Western disciplines have evolved from the ranching and warfare traditions brought to the Americas by the Spanish Conquistadors. Both equipment and riding style evolved to meet the needs of the working cowboy in the American West. Because of the necessity to control the horse with one hand and use a lariat with the other, western horses were trained to change direction with light of pressure of the reins, and effective seat and leg cues.
