Private

One on one instruction between the instructor and the student for optimal success.  Available in 30 or 45 minute sessions.

Semi Private

  Lessons for two must be be prearranged, and both parties must arrive for the same time slot. Often used by families, friends, or kids of similar level.

Class

Our Class groups are perfect for families wanting to learn together. Our standard lessons are limited to 3 people for safety!

SORRY, We do NOT provide trail riding services. 
 Lesson structure:    Group Lessons are about 45+ minutes of grooming, saddling, mounting, riding (or in hand work), and dismounting.  Privates are 30 to 45 minutes. See "enroll pw" file below for enrollment paperwork. 

 Instructors:    Our instructors are nationally tested and certified through the Certified Horsemanship Association. This is a rigorous 5 day testing process.  We are also proud to provide a therapeutic instructor certified through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship. (We are not a therapeutic program, riders must be able to work in a mainstream program). Instructors continue to take lessons and seek continuing education.

​Riders are encouraged to arrive 15 to 20min early for tacking, and stay after for horse care.

Hours: We only offer limited days for the health of our horses. 
               Mondays Tuesdays Fridays Saturdays
                                     (weather makeups may move to any day except Sun. )
              Fall Winter Spring hours: approximately 12 noon to 530pm
              Summer hours: Approximately 7am to Noon

Purchased from a Welsh farm in Texas, which was owned by an actress who was supposed to play in the wizard of OZ, until she broke her arm, and Elizabeth Taylor took her place!

Rescued in 2015 at a Certified Rescue, we intially though he was 5, but turned out to be 3. We had to be patient to get this guy in the program! But now he is doing great and loves the kids.

I love to jump and jumped a round bale feeder when I was only two! I can do lots of things! Dressage, Jumping and my favorite VAULTING!

I have been trained on and off by Cheryl West for the last 6 years. My previous owners used me for trail, jousting and other medival games.  The Chipmans sent Wrecker to West, Sept 2021  to get the best home for him.!


​We strive to keep our horses for all of their long productive lives,
​ but sometimes they find better homes or move to greener pastures.

DECEASED 2011
A rescued Rhinelander from Florida, I was rehabbed after a pulled suspensory and helped Cheryl West get her Bronze Medal.  I'm very difficult to ride, so only Cheryl rides me.
Update Nov 2017. Mr Comet passed gracefully to greener pastures. Dont be sad! We will forever remember his exubrant personality!

​I'm an off-the-track Appendix Thoroughbred.
​You can catch me racing other horses when I'm turned out.

Update Feb 2021    Titan lost his battle with chronic laminitis and weight retention. We loved him dearly and will be forever grateful for his patience with our riders.

I was  rescued from a sale lot in Texas. Miss Cheryl couldn't bear to leave me there.


Update: Caspian has found a forever home! He is very happy with his family. everyone from Grandpa to grandkids are making him feel well loved.

Came to us from a client who thought he could do good with a job. She moved on to a younger horse, and didn't want to see him sit.  Snow has no go, and plenty of whoa, you have to ask just so!!! (hes a poet)
